Our Story
In May 2014, FunCation Academy was launched by our owner, Amy Scott. Amy's vision was to provide high-quality educational resources to the homeschooling community. As she slowly began to build FunCation Academy, she realized that FunCation Academy needed to be more than an educational resource; it needed to be a community!
FunCation originally started with live virtual classes, and in 2017, it shifted to a self-paced online curriculum. FunCation Academy experienced rapid growth purely by word of mouth. As FunCation continued to grow, it expanded its programs and services to meet the needs of the ever-changing homeschooling community.

FunCation Academy has proudly educated over 10,000 students, with students in all 50 states and 12 countries. Amy and her team work tirelessly to provide the homeschooling community with the services and resources it deserves. FunCation Academy is one of the largest secular online homeschool programs available today.
