ELA for Neurodivergent Friends

If you are looking for a supportive and educational environment for your neurodivergent student in ELA, look no further! As a certified educator and neurodivergent myself, I know the importance of having a patient and positive educator in the classroom.

My goal is to focus on phonemic awareness, comprehension, critical thinking, and forming foundational writing skills. Our pod will be paced so that each student knows they are valued and respected. Our pod will involve whole-group lessons and one-on-one time. This is an ideal pod for students who need to utilize other learning methods, along with a teacher who can utilize other teaching methodologies.

I believe in supporting students where they are. Some students are ready for more rigorous material at a fast pace, while others need more time to allow the material to be processed in their brains. No matter what your students' learning style, I am here to help them succeed!
