About

Executive Function for Autistic and ADHD Teenagers helps teens understand how their unique brains work and develop real-world skills that make life easier. This 26-week course doesn't try to force students to "fit in". Instead, they learn to create strategies that actually work with the way their minds naturally function. This curriculum is developed specifically to prioritize their needs and is taught by an instructor who has autism and ADHD herself. Three times a week, your teen will join engaging sessions that include learning new concepts, getting one-on-one support, and practicing skills with peers. They'll learn practical ways to manage time blindness, tackle tasks, get organized, handle big emotions, and navigate social situations. Everything they learn can be immediately applied to their schoolwork and daily life. Every class starts with simple but powerful, evidence-based breathing & mindfulness practices that help students manage stress, overwhelm, and focus. Through the lens of practical neuroscience, they'll learn how to understand their own thinking patterns, speak up for what they need, and develop study and planning approaches that match their natural way of thinking. While the course teaches important academic skills, it focuses on real-life application. Students learn proven strategies for managing their time, breaking down big projects, understanding & regulating emotions, and communicating effectively.
