Learning That Goes Beyond the Lesson
Learning shouldn't be passive.
FA Boost gets students actively working with what they learn. Instead of simply watching a lesson and answering questions, students learn, practice, apply, explain, and revisit skills in different ways to build a stronger understanding.
Through video lessons, printable and onscreen worksheets, online games, hands-on projects, and interactive Teach Backs, students do more than complete assignments. They actively participate in their learning, explore ideas, and explain their thinking.

Practice-Powered Progress
Learning something once doesn't mean it will stick! FA Boost helps students strengthen their skills and build lasting understanding through purposeful practice, spiral review, and interactive feedback.
Instead of repeating the same assignments, students engage with concepts in different ways through online games, printable and on-screen worksheets, novel studies, and hands-on projects and science labs. This variety keeps learning engaging while giving students opportunities to practice skills, make connections, and apply what they've learned.
As students progress, important concepts return throughout the curriculum, reinforcing earlier learning while preparing them for new challenges. Along the way, interactive feedback encourages students to recognize mistakes, rethink their approach, and keep improving.
The result is a balanced learning experience that strengthens skills, supports retention, builds confidence, and helps students move beyond simply completing lessons toward truly understanding what they learn.
Teach Backs: Explain What You Know
One of the most powerful features of FA Boost is Teach Backs, interactive activities that encourage students to explain their thinking while demonstrating how they work through a question or concept.
Instead of relying only on multiple-choice answers or completed worksheets, students use their voice and digital whiteboard to explain their reasoning, work through ideas, and demonstrate their understanding in their own words.
As students respond, they receive interactive feedback that begins with what they did well, encourages deeper thinking, and guides them toward stronger answers without simply giving away the solution.
Students can revisit their responses, try again, or move forward when they're ready. This encourages them to reflect, rethink, and develop greater confidence in their learning.
Teach Backs help students show what they know, not just finish the assignment.

A Note for Neurodivergent Learners
We encourage all students to try Teach Backs! However, automated feedback may not always recognize nuanced responses or different communication styles.
For this reason, Teach Backs are optional for neurodivergent learners.
Blended Online/Offline Learning
FA Boost combines online and offline learning with a thoughtful mix of digital activities and hands-on experiences.
Students watch video lessons, play interactive games, and build skills with printable worksheets, writing activities, novel studies, science labs, and creative projects.
This balanced approach keeps learning varied and engaging, giving students opportunities to watch, read, write, practice, create, and explore, both on and away from the screen.
