We are not an online course marketplace; instead, we prioritize quality and excellence by limiting the number of pods we offer. To ensure each pod delivers an exceptional learning experience, we’ve developed a thoughtful and selective interview process for our Pod Educators. This process provides an opportunity for you to showcase your personality, teaching style, and the vision for your pod, allowing us to build a team of educators who truly inspire and engage.

Unlimited Income Potential
Pod Educators have the option to facilitate multiple pods, which can lead to unlimited income potential.
Designated Virtual Classroom
Pod Educators are assigned designated classrooms on our virtual campus. They can work with our Marketing Specialist to decorate, design, and brand their room.
Business Support
As an independent pod educator, we understand how important it is to grow your business. That’s why, as part of our team, we handle the heavy lifting when it comes to marketing and billing—saving you valuable time and money.
Marketing Support
Pod Educators can work closely with our Marketing Specialist to design up to 3 social media marketing images. The Marketing Specialist will help you design or develop your brand.
Make your Own scheudle
Our 24/7 immersive virtual campus empowers you to set your own schedule, making it easy to connect with students from anywhere in the world.
Community
Our virtual campus is designed for collaboration and community. Pod Educators can meet, work, and collaborate with their peers in our Educator Lounge and other gathering places.
The Details
FunCation Academy is a community-driven organization that values collaboration and connection among both our families and our team. To foster the strong sense of community that is at the heart of our company culture, we prioritize minimizing competition among Pod Educators.
Our Virtual Learning Pods (VLPs) are structured to treat all educators fairly to ensure an even playing field. Instead of promoting individual pods, we focus on general marketing to support the program as a whole. Additionally, we limit the number of pods on our platform to prevent oversaturation and maintain a diverse range of offerings.
Our VLPs are designed to embrace the freedom and creativity of homeschooling while providing a quality education that will prepare students for college and beyond.
Class Size
3-15 students per pod
You may facilitate an unlimited number of Pods.
Class Frequency
45-90 minutes
2-4 days a week
You can access our Virtual Campus 24/7 and schedule classes any day or time to allow 100% flexibility.
Class Fee
$75 a month per student
You have the option to include an additional fee to cover the cost of any out-of-pocket materials you provide for your students.
Compensation
80% of class fees
85% of class fees if your class requires students to use a FunCation Academy curriculum.
Potential Income $900+ a month or approx. $75 per hour.
We keep a 15-20% administration fee from all class fees for operational, marketing, billing, and teaching support.

Application Review
Before applying, review our qualifications requirements.
You must be an educator; homeschooling educators are a plus.
Must have 3+ years of teaching experience. A teaching degree is not required.
Must be comfortable using computers and technology
Must have reliable internet and a computer with a headset
Must have a distraction-free work environment.
Must be willing to work as a team
Must have good organizational and communication skills
Must be willing to consent to an identity verification and background check.
Please allow up to 8 business days for us to review your application. Candidates with strong qualifications will be contacted via email to schedule a virtual on-campus interview.
While our Pod Educator positions are limited, and not all applicants will be invited for an interview, every candidate will receive an email notifying them of our decision.
We encourage you to reapply after six months if you are not selected.
Virtual On-Campus Interview
Prior to your interview, we encourage you to visit our virtual campus to become acclimated to our campus and limit any technical issues. Your interview will take approximately 45 minutes. Be prepared to discuss your pod idea, your teaching style, and your curriculum details.
