Bring your child’s creativity to life in our unique, hands-on Minecraft Movie-Making Class! This class guides students through the full filmmaking process—story development, world-building, recording, editing, and final presentation—using tools they love. What Students Will Learn 1. Story Creation & Planning Students develop their own original storyline, characters, and plot structure. They’ll learn how to plan scenes, organize ideas, and map out a clear beginning, middle, and end. 2. Minecraft World & Scene Design Inside Minecraft, students build the settings for each part of their movie. They design environments, arrange scenes, and prepare their world for filming. 3. Filming & Editing with Clipchamp Students are taught how to record their Minecraft footage and bring it into Clipchamp, where they’ll learn video editing basics, including cutting clips, adding transitions, inserting text, creating titles and credits, and choosing background music. 4. Graphic Design in Canva To complete the creative experience, each student will design a professional-style movie poster using Canva and a short movie trailer using either Canva or Clipchamp. 5. Virtual Film Festival Showcase Finished films will be featured during our February Film Festival on our virtual campus. Families and friends are invited to attend and celebrate student creativity!
